Inspection of safety protection equipment

The manufacturing, upgrading, operation, or changes in workflow of safety protection devices may all compromise the level of protection. Failure to detect them in a timely manner can result in significant losses and even endanger employee safety. In many countries, the law requires regular inspection of safety related equipment on machines. As a machine operator, it is your obligation to inspect the machine before its first use and every time it is installed in a new location. Machines that are frequently used and may have weakened protective measures must be regularly inspected. We recommend conducting an inspection at least once a year.

We inspect all technical protective measures of your machine in terms of installation, condition, and safety functions. Including emergency stop button, safety door, dual hand control device, photoelectric protection device (such as light curtain, laser scanner), and protective system based on photography principle. We use overtravel detection to check if the current conditions of your machine meet the specified safety distance.

The inspection of safety protection equipment includes:

Initial inspection of all technical protective equipment: correct installation, safe operation, and incorporation into the machine controller

Check the safety functions in the circuit diagram

Over limit measurement (check the safety distance specified by the manufacturer)

Check all technical safeguards: current condition of machine documentation, correct installation, safe operation
